  • I had the pleasure of being commissioned by The New Statesman magazine, to draw their front page lettering for their special Easter Cover, to celebrate their 110th anniversary.

  • The New Statesman is the leading progressive political and cultural magazine in the United Kingdom. Founded on 12 April 1913, the New Statesman has notably recognised and published new writers and critics. Today, it is a vibrant print-digital hybrid, and one of the most respected and influential titles in the United Kingdom. For their anniversary, I had to create a custom lettering that had to be celebratory, optimistic and bold.

  • I chose to focus on the numerals of the title, adding dynamism to the composition by using a 3D lettering style to make a bold statement for the cover.
